We last checked in with Kharrima in December of 2008. Close to two years later, she is still going strong and is still awe -to-the-some!
A competitive gymnastics coach, this dynamo has changed majors seven times (elementary education, business, massage therapy, diagnostic medical sonography, health science, communication disorders and history)! She is currently majoring in nursing and aspires to get her training in lactation consulting and eventually become a midwife.

Remind us of what brought you to Answers.com and what keeps you around.
I was doing some work for a history class, and the unanswered questions I knew grabbed my attention. I started answering them and have been hooked ever since.
Since you were last featured, have there been any changes in your life? Exciting new developments?
I got engaged in January. The wedding will take place in March 2011.
Are you involved in any new hobbies or activities (outside of Answers.com)?
Most of my hobbies consist of school work, cooking, cleaning, gardening and planning my wedding.
What one feature on Answers.com are you directly responsible for suggesting?
I suggested the new image for the “new message” notification alert that comes up. In addition, I have suggested many, many new categories, the addition of the “Nominate as Supervisor/Premier Answerer” link on the bio pages.
If you could sum up your experiences on Answers.com in five words, what would you say?

If you look up trailblazer in the dictionary, you’re bound to see the username Shevy1103 mentioned somewhere – well, maybe. But if you don’t find it there, you can definitely find it here, here and here! You see over on the world’s most wonderful Q&A site, Shevy1103 is helping to create new paths by venturing into the unexplored depths of answering questions on Answers.com. That’s right. He’s a WIT Trailblazer and we are proud to have him on board.
What is your Answers.com user name? And how did you come up with it?
My user name is Shevy1103, and if you Google it, you’ll find that I use it on a lot of other sites as well. I guess it’s always stuck with me. I don’t know how I came up with it. I was most likely registering for a site, probably a music site, and I could NOT come up with ANY user name that I was happy with or that matched the demands. After awhile (and about 20 user names) I just started typing, without thinking of what I was typing, and suddenly there it was “Account successfully created”. And I’ve used it ever since. One day I realized it’s based on the pronunciation of my name (Jonny Skjevik). It’s the “Skjev” in Skjevik and the “y” in Jonny. Anywho, that’s it, nothing fancy.
What brought you to Answers.com?
What brought me to Answers.com was, as many others I presume, the search of an answer. I had a report to do, but I was missing some important fact. I looked trough encyclopedias, biographies and other books, until I decided to try the World Wide Web. So I Googled my question, and voila! After an hour and a half (give or take) there it was – the answer I had been searching for. Thank you, Answers.com!
What are some of your hobbies?
My hobbies? Well, I love hiking, and I usually bring my camera so I can take photos of the beauty of nature. And I play both volleyball and basketball. And of course, I sing. I sing every day of every week of every month. You get the point, right? I sing, if not good, at least I sing. And I sing with no care in the world of how badly I actually sing. I listen to music of course, all kinds of it. I believe that everything has both positive and negative sides to it, and that goes for all the genres of music as well. And when we talk about hobbies we can’t avoid running into the fact that I love being on Answers.com and helping other people with all kinds of problems and questions.
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish during your lifetime?
I have many a goal on my “to do before I die” list, but the one on the top has to be to learn Japanese. The Japanese language is so colorful and rich! I would love to be able to speak and write Japanese. Another goal of mine is to move to New Zealand for at least a year. I don’t know why actually. I’ve just developed this over-the-top impression of New Zealand, and so I made it a goal.
Tell us about a unique or quirky habit of yours.
I don’t really know. Well, I’m not shy at all, and I never get socially awkward; plus nothing in the world is/are capable of making me embarrassed of myself, who I am or anything at all really! I can’t think of anything quirky at all.
What is your favorite Answers.com activity?
My favorite activity? Eh, well, I love just being on the site, and I find everything, every piece of it, perfect. I have to say I am a fan of helping people by providing information they need (in other words: answering questions). There is a reason I’m a WIT Trailblazer.

Most weeks we feature our beloved Supervisors here on no.stupid.answers. This week, we are honored to be featuring one of our amazing Premier Answerers, Anacanapanastan. If you’re not familiar with this tongue twister of a term, anacanapanastan has a little something to do with The Three Stooges (more below). Active in a number of categories, Anacanapanastan finds Answers.com both therapeutic and engaging. Here’s more:
What is your Answers.com user name? And how did you come up with it?
My Answers.com user name is Anacanapanastan. I chose it as a result of being a lifelong fan of The Three Stooges. Admiration of their wit started when I was young, in the early 1960′s. “Anacanapanastan” was an ingredient contained in a youth potion featured in one of The Stooges’ short movies called, “All Gummed Up”. Perhaps getting older made a youth potion seem desirable; or maybe I just found The Stooges funny. Probably some of both.
What brought you to Answers.com?
I happened upon Answers.com after having had brain tumor surgery. There has been a long recovery from it, and I am no longer able to work. Answers.com is an outlet for me to assist people in substantive areas in which I had/have experience, including insurance, healthcare, and the law. I have pretty good writing abilities (so I am told), and am happy to assist the site with editing as well. To that extent, it is therapeutic.
What do you do for a living? What are some of your hobbies?
I am “involuntarily retired” as a result of brain tumor surgery. In my prior life, I was an attorney. I also wrote extensively on insurance and health care issues, and worked with a major publisher as a consultant on the design and marketing of an insurance regulatory product.
My hobbies still include “egg-head” activities. These include contributing to blogs, assisting people in understanding insurance issues and public policy developments related to brain tumors that they or family members have via a “survivor’s” community, and notably, participating in Answers.com.
I am also a husband, the father of a son in his early ‘teens, and of 18 (mostly-rescued) dogs.
I volunteer regularly with animal rescue and welfare organizations, and am participating in political campaigns.
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish during your lifetime?
One goal that I would like to accomplish during my lifetime is to educate others as to the need to reduce government intrusion into private life. As part of that, I feel that it is urgent that people understand that there are no “entitlements” from government apart from providing for a strong military to defend the country. To understand that, however, it is necessary to grasp that government does not produce wealth – if it is to redistribute it, it first needs to confiscate it, which, to my thinking, is amoral.
What are your areas of expertise or interest?
My primary areas of expertise are insurance, healthcare, and civil law. I have a good grounding in Constitutional issues, and as a result of my devotion to animals, I know a fair amount about dogs.
What inspires you to answer questions on Answers.com?
I am inspired to answer questions and to otherwise work with Answers.com as a result of my desire to share knowledge gained through education and experience of which I have had the benefit over many years. Additionally, and candidly, it pains me to see/read poorly written material, and I would be delighted to help to “raise the bar”.

What is your Answers.com user name and the history behind it?
My Answers.com user name is Anupriya014. “Anupriya” is my first name and “014” is the date on which I was born. Many people give fake names or something completely made up. But I think a person should give his or her true name (at least first name) to an educational site like Answers.com. I take everything seriously that is related to this site. Therefore, I selected the name Anupriya014.
Would you care to tell us about your family?
My family consists of my parents and one brother. My father is a doctor, my mom is a housewife and my brother is in 9th standard.
Do you have any pets?
Not currently. But I had a rabbit which died in 2008.
Where do you live, how long have you lived there and why do you like the area?
Up until the middle of last year, I used to live with my family in a small town. But now I am in capital of my state (Lucknow) because there is no degree college in my small city. I have lived here since 1994. I like this place because it has a calm environment, not much hustle and haste, with lots of greenery. You can get a perfect peace of mind. You can provide your children a nice study environment here because they will not be diverted much due to big malls, etc. In fact, a studious child can study anywhere here – but not all children are so studious that they will bind their minds only to their studies.
Where did you grow up and do you have any special memories of your childhood?
I have many memories and all of them are special. Some of them are playing with my father and brother, getting study lessons from my father, morals by mum, my best friend Ritupriya, my dances in school functions and my awesome teachers and school.
What educational information would you like to share?
I have completed my school/high school education from my town. I haven’t completed my college education yet, so no degrees currently. I have just completed my first year in college.
What are your key areas of knowledge, interests or expertise?
I love science, particularly biology/biotechnology, but I have knowledge in many fields. I love to know more and more and discover new things. I love to dance and received proficiency award for it. I love music, too. Not only listening, but also understanding the lyrics.
Do you have any collections or hobbies?
I like to do lots of searches on Internet. I like to help people. I have a good, but not so big English songs collection.
What are a few random facts about yourself?
1. I talk much about philosophy, but when I get angry I forget everything. I am kinda short tempered. 2. I love to study but there are many times when I prefer other things. 3. I want to do much for the world while I am alive.

My user name is AmercGirl4J1C. It means American Girl for Jesus Christ 1. I came up with the name from one of my AIM Screen-names that I made about 7 years ago, that I really like and still use today.

My first name is Katie.

I’m 22-years-old.
Do you have any pets?
Yes, a dog; a female German Shepherd.
Where do you live, how long have you lived there and why do you like the area?
I currently live in the Northern part of the USA (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania). I have lived here my whole life so far. At one point I’d love to move and live in either Tennessee or Georgia.
What are some of your past or present occupations?
Well, I just finished college in May 2010 with my degree in Business Administration with Accounting option. Well I don’t have a past occupation, just a part-time job in a doctor’s office.
What are your key areas of knowledge, interest or expertise?
I’m pretty knowledgeable in home-security, (Okay, I’m kinda’ a know-it-all with that…). Oh and I’m also pretty knowledgeable about Christian music, I know tons of bands in the many different genres. (I’m kinda a like a walking Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) database.) I’m interested in Criminal Justice type stuff, and how drugs affect the body. iPods, too.
Do you have any collections or hobbies?
Besides books and movies, ha. I collect the American Girls Collection. My hobbies are swimming, bowling and listening to music, mainly.
What do you like to do for recreation?
I love reading, swimming, bowling, playing my Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS and just chilling with friends or chilling by myself.

Yes, I am kind-of ambidextrous although I write just a little slower with my other hand.
