I’m currently a student at university. I’m in my final year of an M.A. in English Language.

My username is Xnicola. Nicola is my first name and I randomly added the ‘X’ as ‘Nicola’ was already taken!

Where in the world do you hail from and what makes this place special?

I’m from Glasgow, Scotland. I guess our weather makes it special in it’s own way! It’s true what they say – it always rains! We were also once voted the friendliest city in the UK.

How did you discover Answers.com?

I discovered Answers.com whilst researching a topic for university. I answered a few questions as a non-member and then decided to make an account and join in properly.

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?

I would be a cat. I am jealous of all the hours of sleep my cat gets!

What is your favorite thing to do on Answers.com?

My favourite thing to do is answer questions. I like teaching and passing on what knowledge I have to others. I also like helping and greeting new contributors as part of Community Outreach as I think making people feel welcome and part of a community is important!

What life accomplishments are you proud of?

I’m proud of my academic success, having an article published in a national newspaper and having traveled to many different countries.

My special interests include reading, theatre, shopping, watching TV, cooking, owls, Skullcandy88 and cats.

I would love to visit Italy as I think it looks like a really beautiful place.
