Valentine’s Day for whatever you’re into. [VIDEO]

Today may be February 14th, but lots of people have been celebrating Valentine’s Day over this past weekend. Romantic dinners, bouquets of flowers, heart-shaped candy, gifts of all kinds, or none of the above – whatever you’re up to for the holiday of love, there’s something for you to watch and learn.

Personally, I could leave all the flowers and red bows and puppies behind, and only focus on one thing: the cupcakes. Like these Sweet Sweet Valentine’s cupcakes, from a Magnolia bakery recipe.

But you may be into even sweeter stuff – like figuring out first date etiquette so you can take out the girl you’ve been ordering extra coffee from for the last month.

Or, going further – maybe you’re already in relationship mode, and want to work out a long distance relationship with your love.

And if you’re indeed near and dear, and just want to get to the point – well, there are plenty of videos that’ll share a thing or too on sex – and what it does to your brain! (And remember to keep it safe).

But if really, your Valentine’s Day is about taking the ultimate leap – and giving the ultimate gift (of commitment) – there’s an entire library of wedding videos to answer your questions.

And if you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check out the infographic that has the answers to your Valentine’s Day gift-giving questions, from the hottest Q&A sites around.

An even better Q&A source than Answers.com.

Not gonna lie – Answers.com has a pretty extensive and well-answered Relationships Q&A category. Not too shabby in the Spelling category, either.

But, admittedly, there is one guru who does it better than we could ever hope to. And he even has his own Questions and Answers show: Ask Oscar.

That’s Oscar the Grouch, the lovable curmudgeon with ‘all the answers to all your questions!’ Give it a watch (and learn about the letter X).

Now showing: video answers on Answers.com.

There’s a whole new way to get answers on Answers.com… Watch them!

TechCrunch reports:

Exclusive: Answers.com Gets 200,000 Video Answers From 5Min

Every big publisher on the Web wants to be able to serve up ad-friendly videos, but creating them can be a pain. But there are already plenty of high-quality videos out there in every subject imaginable. With that in mind, Answers.com has quietly launched Video Answers with about 200,000 videos from video distribution network 5min on everything from home repair and fashion tips to cars and travel.

Answers.com Videos consists of up to 200,000 videos in over 200 categories. The videos come to Answers.com from 5min Media, which has syndicated videos on the site for over a year – you’ve probably seen them in ReferenceAnswers topic pages, embedded between other content sources.

This new video library, directly accessible at http://video.answers.com, includes tips, how-to guides and visual demonstrations from experts across hundreds of fields. Categories include the likes of Product ReviewsGreen LivingTravel Tips, and Diet & Nutrition.

We’re pretty sure Answers.com CEO Bob Rosenschein speaks on behalf of the entire content team when he says: “Our mission is to offer answers about anything, accessible on a range of platforms and formats. 5min Media provides us the opportunity to offer answers in video form in addition to our community-generated and reference content. Now Answers.com delivers the answers best displayed with instructional visuals – like how to create ringtones for your iPhone or how to make the perfect steak.”

Answers.com‘s Bob Rosenschein was in Los Angeles last week for The Israel Conference, an annual forum bringing together entrepreneurs and business professionals from California and Israel to explore mutual opportunities.

Bob spoke at the event, discussing the culture of Israeli start ups, including much of his own experience having started up his own company there in 1999. He also took a few moments to describe ‘that company,’ otherwise known as Answers.com. Among the topics covered were the site’s mission, product and latest news, including a mobile version and instant answers on Twitter.

Check out a video taken at the conference for Bob’s full talk.

A tale of two possible parakeets.

When I was a kid, my mom let me go to the store and pick out a parakeet to take home. There were dozens of parakeets of all colors and degrees of shrillness. I wasn’t really considering any other criteria other than how pretty it was.

I picked a pretty green one and assumed it was a male. Maybe it was the appearance of the pot-belly around its middle? I found out after I had taken ‘him’ home that this parakeet was indeed a she – and she was pregnant.

Lucky for all of you parents with kids who MUST have a pet parakeet pronto, the wonderful Ganderton (also known as Gregg) has outlined a WikiAnswers Wednesday video with that little detail it’s always nice to know: How do you tell a male parakeet from a female parakeet?

Big thanks to Ganderton for participating in the video edition of WikiAnswers Wednesday!

If you’d like to submit  a video for next week, leave a comment below.
